Congratulations to Jim Gash
Congratulations to Jim Gash, who was selected to be the next president of Pepperdine University beginning in August! Jim has served as an elder of the University Church of Christ since 2011. Please keep Jim, Joline, and the Gash family in your prayers as they prepare for this major transition.

Sunday Message by John Barton
This Sunday’s message will be delivered by John Barton. It is titled, “Crazy Love,” from Luke 6: 27-36.

Walter Glass Prayer Update
Walter recently experienced kidney and heart failure on a cruise, which led to an emergency transport to a San Diego hospital. He and Betty have been there since Saturday. Walter is now out of ICU and improving after pacemaker insertion and dialysis. Walter and Betty appreciate your ongoing prayers.

Meal Train for Rob Terrell
Please consider bringing Rob Terrell a meal; he greatly appreciates the support of this church family. His address and food preferences can be found at his Meal Train: Gift cards to Santa Monica-area restaurants and Whole Foods, as well as checks, can also be contributed. You can give them to Linn Griffin at church or bring them to the church office. Thank you!

Wedding Shower Brunch
The wedding shower brunch for Shelby (Warwar) Emmer will be at 10:00am on Saturday, March 2 at the home of Patty Atkisson.  Donations for the money tree may be given to Patty Atkisson.  Ladies please join us to celebrate Shelby and hear about the highlights of the wedding.

Sturgeon Farewell Reception
We will have a reception immediately after church on March 3rd as a time to thank Al and Jody for the work they have done with our congregation and to wish them well with their move.  Please bring an hors d’oeuvre or hearty finger food to share, and drop it off in the church office before our morning service.

Women’s Fellowship Event
Women’s Fellowship Dinner and a Movie is rescheduled for Saturday, March 23rd at 6 pm at the home of Joline Gash. It will be a potluck dinner, so please plan to bring a main dish and a side or dessert. If possible, please let Jenny (at know if you are planning to attend.
