Good morning, Church Family! We accidentally had some misinformation in yesterday’s email about when to help with the Malibu Labor Exchange Christmas Party. Please see below for the corrected announcement:
Labor Exchange Christmas Party — The Annual Malibu Community Labor Exchange (MCLE) Christmas Party for MCLE workers and their families is Saturday, December 10, from noon to 2:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Malibu Catholic Church. Each year we serve between 100-125 people. We need help with the following:
- Unwrapped toys for children of all ages
- Cash (and/or gift cards) to cover the cost of toys, food, and supplies for the lunch
- Side dishes: traditional Latin American foods and Christmas fare are enjoyed and appreciated by the diners!
- Help before, during, and/or after the party: set-up and toy sorting from 10:00 to noon, visiting with MCLE families from 11:30-2:00, and clean-up from 2:00-3:00.
Please bring toys and cash this Sunday to church or drop off by Friday, December 9, to Jody Sturgeon or Stacy Rouse. Drop off side dishes at OLM Church between 10:00 and 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 10, or at the Sturgeon or Rouse homes before 9:30 a.m. Contact Stacy (424-234-0939) or Jody to let them know how you’d like to help or for more information.
