Hello, Church Family!
“But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.”
As we get more and more busy this fall, let’s remember to still be doers of the Word.
- For the family, colleagues, friends, and students of Tim Pownall, who recently passed away unexpectedly
- Nathan Thomas, son of James and Kanet Thomas, has successfully completed his chemo treatments, but pray as he prepares for surgery on October 18
- Wisdom for the elder selection process and for the preacher search
- Ann Skipper, dealing with serious spinal complications
- Safety and peace for Mindi and Dereje Aleme, Tyler and Katie Selby, and their families, surrounded by turmoil and deadly protests in and around Addis Abbaba, Ethiopia, where they are missionaries
- Ken Perrin, recovering from a bad fall
- Neil Casey for his work in the Peace Corps overseas in Georgia
- Bernice, Bernie James’ mother, as she continues to recover
- Expectant Parents: Leslie and Chris Bauman, and Haley and Zach Love
