Summer Bible Class Series

This Sunday, May 8, marks the beginning of our summer Bible class schedule. Our adult Bible class will be meeting in Plaza 189, at 9:00 a.m. each week.

Our Bible class will be taught by a diverse collection of people from the congregation, and a few visitors. The theme for this class is shared with the theme for our time of worship, “Rest, Renewal, and Revival”.  We will have sessions dedicated to each of these themes, times of singing with the youth group, and even a session in Elkins with the high school students attending the Crossways Youth Conference this August.

For the first two Sundays of the summer, the class will be led by visitors to our congregation:

  • This Sunday, May 8, Joseph Dzamesi will be leading the class. Joseph leads Sonrise Christian High School in Ghana, West Africa.  Joseph is a Pepperdine alumnus who returned to Africa to grow opportunities for students to attend a Christian school in his homeland. The University Church of Christ has supported Joseph for several years. We are excited to have him back with us and invite everyone to this bible class.
  • On the following Sunday, May 15, Konstantine Zigulin and Psalom will be with us from St. Petersburg, Russia.  They will teach us three new songs that they have written.

Please join us — all are welcome!
