Superb Summer Saturdays of Service
UCCYG – Start saving the date now for each Saturday morning this summer. We’ll be diving into serving others within the Malibu and LA community beginning on Saturday June 15th by serving at the Manna Food Bank in Conejo Valley. We’ll meet at the Breeding’s condo at 8:30am and return around 1pm after grabbing lunch. RSVP is required and parents are encouraged to join in! Email dusty.breeding@pepperdine.edu to save your spot. (must be at least twelve years old)

UCCYGEnd of School Celebration
Next Wednesday (June 12) will be a special night at youth group. We’re excited to welcome our incoming 6th graders! After our 6:30-8pm gathering at the Breeding’s home, we’ll be heading down to Westwood to eat the best and cheapest ice cream sandwiches on the planet at Diddy Riese! Parents, if you’re looking for an excuse to eat a delicious ice cream sandwich, we are looking for YOU! Seeking two additional drivers. Email dusty.breeding@pepperdine.edu if you’re willing.

Middle School Campout
Save the date for June 20-21st! We’ll be heading to Sycamore Canyon for a one night camp out. Hot dogs, s’mores, and adventure are all in store.

Mourning with the Hanks and Griffins/Andy and Kammie Swartz leaving/E-bulletin info

Message by Eric Wilson
This Sunday’s message will be delivered by Eric Wilson entitled, “Fresh Encounter Face to Face.”

Summer in Stauffer!
Morning Worship in Stauffer Chapel has begun. Bible class begins at 9AM, with worship service starting at 10:15.

Prayers for the Hanks and Griffins
Please be in prayer for the Hanks, as Lincoln lost his father two weeks ago, and his mother two days ago. Prayers are also extended on behalf of the Griffins in the passing of Brad’s mother, Sue, early this morning.
We are praying for all of you as you travel to be with family and to celebrate the wonderful lives of your loved ones.

Going away reception for Andrea and Andy
Andrea Zahler has accepted a position at Lipscomb University as the Associate Director of Spiritual Engagement and Development and will be moving to Nashville in June.  Andy Swartz has also accepted a position as a Career Advisor at Drury University in Springfield, MO, where they will be closer to family. Andy and Kammie will be here through June, but their last Sunday with us will be June 9. You will be greatly missed!

Thank you for a fun and restful camp out!
Thank you so much to Steve Rouse and Jenny Parmelee for planning an amazing camp out for our church family. Your love and labor were evident! And thank you to Lee and Cindy Morgan for making delicious meals for all. We were blessed as a church family as a result of your efforts. Thank you!!

E-Bulletin
Thank you for your patience and feedback as we transition to a primarily digital platform for our bulletin/order of worship on Sunday mornings. We are excited about the printing cost savings, as well as the ability to utilize more features of the app as we move forward (such as sermon notes and weekly readings together). Please check-in with Teller or Linda if you have questions/suggestions about how it works! https://www.youversion.com/the-bible-app/
